Self Assessment Checklist
Going through an environmental compliance checklist every month or so can be a great way to ensure that your business is completing all of its environmental legislative requirements and best practices.
It gives you a chance to put aside time to think of new, more efficient ways of doing things, and identify any areas where unnecessary waste is produced. Self-assessment checklists can also be delegated to a staff member to be responsible for, and results can be discussed at Staff Meetings or Toolbox Sessions. Having your checks in writing is also a great way to demonstrate to your Local Council your ongoing environmental performance in the situation of an audit.
